Use case: outbound prospecting

Build a targeted B2B prospect list without manual research

Describe your target companies, narrow the list to the relevant responsibility area and check contacts before export. GetContacts turns a campaign idea into a usable Excel list without researching every company on LinkedIn and the web. GetContacts limits delivered data to work email addresses and keeps contact details continuously updated.

GetContacts provides the target data. You decide the message, channel and outreach strategy.

Company and contact filters, separately

First choose the right companies, then the right decision-makers.

See the result before export

Check the sample and fix a filter that is too broad or too narrow.

Excel ready for campaign preparation

Export the approved list into your own CRM or outreach process.

A good outbound campaign starts from a focused target group

A long company list alone does not make a campaign targeted. For every company, you must find the relevant decision-maker, remove clearly unsuitable accounts and check that the segment matches your offering. Doing this manually takes time just when you should be testing messages.

With GetContacts, you build your first test list using the same principles you will use to scale a successful campaign: a clear definition of the companies you want to reach, precise company filters, the relevant decision-maker group and a reviewed sample.

Campaign list in three steps

1

Filter target companies

Select market, region, industry, headcount, revenue, founding year or keywords that describe operations.

2

Choose the responsibility to target

Filter for example top leadership, sales, finance, HR or IT. Use the responsibility class as the main filter and the title for qualitative sample checking.

3

Preview, deduplicate and export

Check the result, compare companies against your CRM and blocklist and export the approved list to Excel.

Example: finance decision-makers in Finnish manufacturing

Preview the companies and people before export. If the sample contains companies of the wrong size or the responsibility is too broad, fix the filter before you use contact balance or start the campaign.

Check these before the first outreach

  • The offer solves a clearly identified problem for the chosen segment.
  • Company size, industry and market are intentional filters.
  • The selected responsibility matches a person involved in the purchase decision.
  • The sample has been checked manually before exporting the full list.
  • Current customers, open sales cases and blocklists have been removed.
  • The legal basis, transparency obligations and right to object have been evaluated.
  • The first test batch is small enough to learn which messages work.

What GetContacts does in this workflow

GetContacts helps you:

  • find companies that match the filter;
  • find contacts that match the selected responsibility or organizational level;
  • preview the segment before export;
  • export the selected list to Excel;
  • use the same data in the API and MCP workflows allowed by the active product.

What GetContacts does not do

  • write or send outbound messages;
  • decide the lawfulness of outreach for you;
  • deduplicate the export automatically against your CRM;
  • guarantee a reply, meeting or message delivery;
  • replace your campaign’s audience and offer strategy.

Frequently asked questions

How large a prospect list can I build?

There is no fixed maximum size for a prospect list: you can build a list from all contacts matching your search. With a one-time purchase, you can export the entire search result to Excel. With a subscription, you can export up to your remaining included and prepaid contact balance; if your balance is smaller than the search result, the export is capped at your balance.

Which companies can I filter?

You can filter companies by country, region, industry, headcount, revenue, founding year and keywords describing their operations. Available fields and coverage vary by market.

How do I select the relevant decision-makers?

Relevant decision-makers are selected by organizational level and responsibility area. Organizational level groups roles with varying titles at the same level, while responsibility area narrows contacts by function. There is no separate job-title search.

Can I send the list directly to my CRM?

Not directly. Browser search provides an Excel file that you can import into your CRM using its normal import process.

Does GetContacts send the email campaign?

No. GetContacts helps build the target list. The message content, sending system, legal basis, recipient rights and campaign results are the user’s responsibility.

Are the email addresses guaranteed to work?

GetContacts limits delivered data to work email addresses and keeps contact details continuously updated. No verification guarantees future delivery, because people, companies and email systems change. Use reasonable test batches and handle bounces and objections properly.
